Note:
Ruhig, Schreiend
(English: Calm, Screaming)
The title of this piece came from a moment when I misread the tempo marking atop Anton Webern's Symphony, op. 21. Webern writes Ruhig, Schreitend, meaning "calm, treading". I initially read this as Ruhig, Schreiend, meaning "calm, screaming". Besides being a play on words, I think the title also reflects some musical aspects of the piece.
